Dining room in the home of the Suffragette, Jane Short (aka Rachael Peace), who lived in Letchworth.
The style of the painting is intended to reference Richter's Baader Meinhof series, a group of paintings about the German terrorist organisation the Red Army Faction highlighting the nature of the Suffragette movement vs the Suffragist movement.

Based on an original image from the Garden City Collection.
